Because it's a Shockwave application, you can't mute the sound. The sound is part of the code you don't have access to. (The code that's executed to run the game.) The code you pasted is simply the code that sets the parameters for the player the game runs in (kind of hard to explain) and where the game is displayed on your page. That code really has nothing to do with the actual game or any of it's properties..I hope that makes sense...
