Talked to girl on myspace for about 3 -4 days, but briefly during that time, she asked to meet up and I jokingly said behind a video game store (thinking I would never meet with anyone from this internet). She said she didn't know where it was so she went ahead and said she could take a taxi to my house (but she doesn't know where I live either). So, I just deleted my account. Smart thing to do right?

Yes. I would never give out any personal information, phone numbers, addresses, or even talk to people I don't know on those social networking sites, unless it's a friend's friend that i'm meeting that i would know that he'd be a good person.

i can say you ppl are crazy even doing that kind of things such giving away youre house address , whole names and phone numbers to strangers you never ever seen or know about her or him backgrounds . that are so dangerous that you just only meet this girl online just only know little bit about her either she doesnt might not have a real information , real picture of her . she might be not real person at all. it can be a freak who is trying to trick you for believeing something that will never happen . such as meeting someone else from myspace . or on yahoo. even other internet . even this unknown fake chick can be a guy who using a lies information about the whole things and told you that she really like you or into you to have a relationship with. if its not really true or happen . thats isnt smart to be doing . plus you might not know this but if you ever watch the news where this girl who was on myspace had met some body offline and had meet this person over the guy she had met from . she even got raped by this guy and even got killed. that why this time people whom are kinda beingin careful whom they end up meeting or giving away any informations to strangers out there that you dont really know . sometimes does bad and wrong . useing yahoo or myspace icon faces on the games rooms or on ims thats doesnt have a prove a real pix's of them how they really looks alike can be a pervates, a someone that is trying to hurt you.

Yes that is kinda weird. I would have done the same thing. You have to be careful with all the weirdo's, if you want to take a chance and meet someone make sure you don't give out your address on the first meeting. That's just dangerous.
