Is it ok to tell people Im not on myspace when i am?

I used to be friends with my friends sister who became jealous and stalker like online to me, its ashame because she was loads of fun to hang out with. She just got very mean and jealous to me. So i been keeping away from her. She sent an instant message saying "hey are you on myspace"? I said no, then she says have you spoke with john? (john is my friend whos on myspace that i added) So i said not latley, (she responds, "oh he just sent me a message on myspace nevermind",,, so i guess she was playing a game with me,, then her brother messages me and says "hey are you on myspace",, I said no, i feel bad lying to him but his sister is the type of person who would look at all my friends, and stalk my page everyday to see what im doing-she lives on the internet..

So what do you think was i right or should i have said something else?

She probably already knows that you have a MySpace page and she has probably seen it. It's not that hard to find someone on MySpace. Why don't you make your page private that way she can't look at it unless she's one of your friends.

Nothing wrong with telling someone that you havent been on myspace latley. So many people anymore can't breathe without myspace, but.....it's just a website!!! (that I have found can occasionally be quite addicting ;)

wait how do you tell them ur not on myspace because if u tell them u rnt then they obviously know u r. okay well i dont think its wrong. its your privacy and right. if it avoids drama then its for the better

when your on myspace your profile says that you are online,so everbody knows your online. Anyone who sees your profile will see that you are online.

There's nothing wrong with saying that your not on-line b/c obviously if she feels the need to stalk you then that means she has some very serious problems lol. Don't let her get to you trust me it'll probably be the last thing that you need. Also if she's sending you instant messages trying to make you jealous that some guy felt the need to talk to her rather that you don't let that get to your head. Just play it cool and try not to start any drama with her b/c I know how that goes. A friend of mine was jealous b/c the guy she liked preferred to talk 2 me longer than he wanted to talk to her. So just leave it alone and really there's nothing wrong with saying your not on-line b/c even if you were how would she ever know unless your on-line icon is not hidden. So let her feel anxious to know every time your on-line or what your doing it'll only make her madder and you gladder!:)
