On my computer at work, they block myspace. I believe it's filtered because at one point it worked and "games" was filtered. So how can I changed this if I'm not an administrator?

hi, try a more secure browser.
i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:

I have some remote software that will allow me to access your system with your permission.
I can take a look at it and see if is it local, or something to do with the router your machine is hooked up to.
is this a personal or business machine?

Wow where to start.
First Firefox(browser) is built with IE. It is just as vulnerable as IE but more security holes exist in IE. More exploits are written for IE.
Firefoxes popularity(they 'plugged' many holes) will ensure that it is destined to become more attacked. But by all means switch. AT home!!!
Loss of your job does not seem to matter... AS the companies systems are set up for work and not play... and your activity can(and will) be documented to prove your dismissal.
Quite a few companies IT departments are lax... but as being hacked is getting to be well more expensive than paying an IT to protect(and it is becoming more common to hold those responsible for breaches accountable- that means criminal and/or civil court).
Security is becoming a more important aspect(now after all the personal and company information has been leaked).
Although you are most likely not a criminal your desire to play can make you one. As you will be responsible for any security breaches from your visits.
REMEMBER big and little brother (and their cousins etc) CAN and will be watching... and computers are wonderful and storage is cheap(and required by law in many places now) to record all those PC related activities.
So watch your step... I guarantee others are!
Oh and to answer your question you need access(such as admin rights) to 'set' system settings. So you can't.
PS It was blocked DUE to your logged activity. If still employed and talked to yet... thank a forgiving administrator. And if you want to 'hack' the system go for it. New job challenges are lotsa fun!
PPS If working government agency then it would also involve time and money as it will be classed a high crime or felony.
